Big Box Storage Celebrates a Season of Giving

The holiday season is a magical time of year, and here at Big Box Storage, we can’t get enough of it! From festive parties and delicious treats to sparkling decorations and meaningful connections, the holidays truly bring out the best in everyone. There’s nothing better than gathering with friends and family, sharing stories over homemade fudge, and exchanging thoughtful gifts. While receiving gifts is always exciting, we believe that giving brings even greater joy.

Spreading Holiday Cheer Through Community Giving

This past holiday season, we felt inspired to give back in ways that would make a lasting impact on our local community. Over the past two months, we rolled up our sleeves, opened our hearts, and partnered with several amazing organizations dedicated to making San Diego a better place.

Here’s how we helped spread joy and hope throughout our community:

• Feeding San Diego: We donated 1,000 nutritious meals to Feeding San Diego, a local nonprofit dedicated to fighting hunger. This contribution helped provide essential food supplies to children, families, seniors, and veterans struggling with food insecurity. Knowing we could make the holidays a little brighter for so many people meant the world to us.
• Supporting Education: We believe that education is the foundation of a brighter future. To support local classrooms, we donated microscopes to one teacher, enabling students to explore cell structures during science lessons. We also helped another teacher purchase an iPad, giving students a creative outlet to learn about stop-motion film production. Seeing the excitement these educational tools brought to local classrooms was incredibly rewarding!
• Fighting Cancer with Light the Night: We proudly sponsored the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s Light the Night Event, where funds raised go toward lifesaving cancer research, patient support, and advocacy. Being a part of this powerful movement made us feel connected to a cause that touches countless lives.
• Helping Local Food Pantries: We partnered with the Serra Mesa Food Pantry by providing extra storage space for surplus nonperishable food items. This ensured that more local families in need could receive essential supplies throughout the holiday season and beyond.

The #BigBoxBigGiveaway Sweepstakes

We didn’t stop there! To wrap up our season of giving with a fun twist, we hosted the #BigBoxBigGiveaway Sweepstakes. Participants were encouraged to share photos of their holiday decorations, and one lucky winner walked away with a brand-new KitchenAid Professional Series Stand Mixer. We couldn’t resist dreaming of all the holiday cookies and treats that might be baked with it, perhaps some will make their way to our office next year!

Our social media feeds came alive with festive pictures of colorful holiday trees, mischievous elves, and homemade treats. Seeing everyone’s creativity and holiday spirit filled us with joy and gratitude. It was a wonderful reminder of how special this season truly is.
