Big Box Storage is pleased to announce that it has become a major sponsor of the America’s Finest City Half Marathon, which is to be held in San Diego, CA on August 20th, 2006. The event benefits the Cabrillo National Monument Foundation and the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network. During its 29-year history, the America’s Finest City Half Marathon has raised over $1.6 million for non-profit organizations. The event is produced by Neil Finn Sports Management, Inc. of San Diego. Seeking to become more involved with children of the local community, the San Diego operation of Big Box Storage has become a major sponsor of the 2nd Annual Bruce Bochy/Monarch School Charity Golf Tournament in Poway, California. The event is being held at the scenic Maderas Golf Course on February 9, 2006. The Monarch School (http://www.monarchschools.org) works closely with the San Diego, California community to provide homeless and at-risk children with basic needs such as healthcare, food, clothing and personal hygiene.
Every year since 1947, the organizers of San Diego’s Mother Goose Parade bring smiles to the faces of thousands of children and adults alike. To assist the organizers in their efforts, Big Box Storage sponsored this year’s parade as held on November 20, 2005. Company staff members also contributed time as volunteers to the event.
