Big Box Storage, based in San Diego, is proud to continue its support of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) by donating four of its signature storage units to the organization’s San Diego chapter. These units were used during the annual Light the Night Walk, which took place on Friday, November 2, 2012, at Petco Park in downtown San Diego. The donated storage units helped the LLS store and organize event materials, ensuring the walk could run smoothly and efficiently.
Beyond their material donation, Big Box Storage employees and their families were also thrilled to participate in the event, walking alongside other supporters to raise awareness and funds for blood cancer research and patient support services. The Light the Night Walk is an annual event hosted by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, uniting communities across the country in a show of solidarity and hope for those battling blood cancers. Participants carry illuminated lanterns, with white representing survivors, red for supporters, and gold to remember those lost to the disease. Funds raised during the walk go directly toward research for treatments and cures, as well as patient advocacy and financial support.
