Participants from all over San Diego will gather at Petco Park to walk in solidarity, carrying illuminated lanterns symbolizing support for survivors, remembrance of loved ones lost, and a shared commitment to finding a cure. This two-mile evening walk isn’t just a fundraiser—it’s a community coming together for a cause that touches many lives.
The funds raised during the Light The Night Walk directly support The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s mission to advance cancer research, provide critical patient care services, and drive advocacy for better treatment options. Friends, families, and co-workers form teams, encouraging donations from consumers across San Diego and beyond. Each contribution brings us closer to finding a cure for these life-threatening illnesses.
In addition to the walk, participants and attendees will experience a Remembrance Ceremony, a moment of reflection and honoring those who have battled cancer, followed by a Laser Light Show to celebrate the community’s commitment to ending blood cancers.
As part of our commitment to community involvement, Big Box Storage proudly provided four of our signature “Big Box” storage units for event use at Petco Park. These portable storage containers helped the Light The Night Walk organizers with setup and logistics, ensuring the event ran smoothly both before and during the walk. We’re honored to contribute in any way we can to this important cause, supporting efforts to raise funds and awareness in the fight against leukemia and lymphoma.
